I booked and paid for an event last week and when i called the number on the website there was no dial tone! I did my research and later discovered they are no longer holding events! how do i get my money back? Im throughly disappointed and don’t advise anyone to book, its a big sham!

I actually hosted an event for this company in June and have received no payment from the company now I find out through "Dating Trail" that the company appears to have gone bust. There has been no contact at all from xfactor yet apparantly the site is still taking money on line for bookings. Beware

Really disappointing. Have tried 2 events in the late thirties/early forties range. One was very small and poorly organised with X-factor and the other was with speedDater where i met 16 guys. Stick with the London leader.

I went to the Xfactor lock and Key party on Saturday at Samuel Pepys, was great fun. Maybe stop selling tickets at 200 though as venue was bit too busy but the overall night was fun and love the lock and key icebreaker!!!

Severe shortage of men (they said it probably clashed with football event - what a dumb night to arrange it on!). I was told I couldn’t stay as I was a little late, and already too many women. Was told I would be contacted and offered free alternative night, but this didn’t happen. Have just phoned them for a refund, and wasn’t given chance to explain what happened. They say they’ll get back to me about it, but nothing so far.

Not as good as previous events. The speed dating section was not as smooth as previous, the music was incredibly loud in speed dating section and quiet in mingling area.

I sometimes think that the part before the event starts, when everyone is just sitting around is really awkward and doesnt do anthing for calming someones nerves. I enjoyed the evening but I think they should avoid events onfootball nights!

I enjoy the singles parties, they are much more fun than other single party events I have been to by other organisations. However, not keen on the speeddating one’s as the ration seems more weighted on the men side.

I have to say I booked an event with these guys before reading the reviews, but I must admit perhaps these were just a few unlucky people, I did atttend it was not cancelled, it was well organised and the venue was stunning, drinks were pricey - but to be honest a stuning venue in the heart of trendy west end is to be expected, it was so good and they gave me discount for the party this Saturday - I am looking forward to it. Give them a try :-)

Sat 5th party was terrible. first they changed the venue saying it was under new management. i work near by and go for after work drinks frequently - its not under new management. moved us to very average crowed venue. only about 100 people and the male/female ratio must’ve been 80/20! i left after about an hour. go to speeddater.

I went to the last Dating event at the Revolution Bar - I expected around 20 guys and girls, there were only 13 couples though. Many guys also seemed much older than the age range stated (40) which isnt fair. There also wasnt much ice-braking going on from the icebrakers. It was 25 quid plus drinks, so all in all quite disappointing. Izzy
